Dear Parents/Carers
So, here we are, at the end of school lockdown. The Year 5/6 team would like to, once again, thank you for all of your hard work and support during lockdown. We have the most amazing children and parents here at Down Hall and you have all done us proud. We are really looking forward to welcoming you and the children back next week. We have been busy preparing the classrooms and resources ready for Monday and can't wait to get back to our new normal.
Below you will see a few reminders as we are sure it must seem like a very long time since you had to do the 'school run.'

A few reminders:
- Your child will still be arriving at the time they were allocated before Christmas. They should arrive as close to their entry time as possible at the Downhall Park Way entrance.
- We ask that children be dropped off and collected by one adult only, unless they walk to and from school on their own. This is to reduce the number of adults at the gate.
- Parents and carers should wear a face covering at all times when dropping off and collecting their child/children.
- PE day for children in Year 5 and 6 remains as a Wednesday.
- Please ensure your child has suitable, warm clothing, including a coat. The classrooms need to remain ventilated, so doors and windows will be open and the room will get rather chilly at times.
- Children will need to bring a water bottle to school each day along with a reading book to keep in class for afternoon ERIC sessions.

School dinners will be available from Monday 8th. Please click the link below to see the menu.
On Monday, children will be bringing home their World Book Day vouchers. These can now be redeemed in supermarkets.
